Golf carts are used by many but a new golf cart about to be released soon may change the way you view them forever. A modified golf car which is routinely used in military operations across the planet will have a street legal version built according to the maker. The machine used in combat is a utility vehicle equipped with deadly war weapons and is specially made to withstand the toughest conditions and terrain anywhere in the world. Reports from the machine design news site provides more information:”In its military incarnation, the Gator is powered by a 21-hp, 854-cc Yanmar diesel engine, sports dual batteries and radiators, and can haul 1,650 lb of payload. Standard features include keyless ignition, a front-mount tubular steel rack that can carry 250 lb, heavy-duty cargo tie downs, and a built-in brush guard. It can tow up to 1,400 lb and burns both diesel and JP8 fuels. Deere believes purchasers will likely include first responders, but civilians will also be allowed to buy it. The cost has not been given and there is, there no word on how the military and civilian versions will differ.”These golf carts will be on sale on a first come first serve basis.
